What's Parker's story?

Parker was founded in 2007 by veteran tax publisher and search-engine expert James Levey as an answer to the dearth of affordably priced tax research tools available to solo practitioners and smaller firms. The company's senior ranks are rounded out by Barbara Bryniarski, Ronald Newlin, and Denis Yurkovic with a combined 60 years of tax publishing experience. Our flagship product, the Parker Tax Pro Library, debuted in July 2011.

Does the library include government source documents?

Yes. The Parker Tax Pro Library includes comprehensive primary source documents. We have fully updated IRS Code and Regs, complete IRS materials (including Rulings, Procedures, Notices, Announcements, Publications, Circular 230, and more), and comprehensive court opinions. There are more than 185,000 authoritative source documents in the library.

Does your service include reporting on current developments?

Yes. Parker's Federal Tax Bulletin is a tersely written 12- to 16-page biweekly report designed to bring you up to speed on current tax developments with a very small investment of time. Susbcribers automatically receive an email version of new issues as they are released. The online version is fully searchable and includes links to cited documents.

What if I have more than one user ... do I need to buy more than one subscription?

Subscribers can allow as many employees of their firm to access the website on a one-at-a-time basis as they see fit. There is no additional charge for one-at-a-time access by multiple employees of the same firm. If you have multiple employees who require concurrent access to the website, you would need to puchase a multiuser license, which is available for a modest upcharge (please call for pricing).

How often do you update the website?

We update the site daily to ensure that subscribers are always working with the most current materials.
